Overall, I loved it. My older sister and I would watch a load of the classic Disney films on repeat for hours, Tarzan was one of both our favourites. With this in mind, I was buzzing to go and see the new Legend of Tarzan film! The character of George Washington Williams and the plot surrounding him was interesting and factually accurate which added another dimension to the story line so that was a positive.

The character of Tarzan was also impressive and Alexander Skarsgard made a very convincing and sexy Tarzan. Overall, I thought the film lacked that much substance, but the acting was good and the love story was romantic and enjoyable to watch.

I would recommend it if you enjoy romance and a man that would do literally anything to get his girl back, and get a thrill out of watching a very handsome man swing half naked through a jungle.
